Ontario.Center is a resource centre for people who run trades businesses in Ontario. You'll find marketing guides built on worked numbers, a short directory of the provincial bodies a trades owner deals with, and, if you want it, senior help with your website, local search, ads and follow-up. Everything here is written to be useful whether or not you ever contact us.

What this resource centre is for

This site answers two kinds of questions: "how do I get more of the right jobs?" and "where is the official page for that?" The first is our trade. The second we answer by linking you to the source and getting out of the way.

Ontario trades owners tend to get marketing advice from two places: software vendors selling a tool, and agencies selling a retainer. Both have a reason to make the answer complicated. We'd rather show you the arithmetic. Our budget worksheet walks through how to decide what a lead is worth to you before you spend a dollar on ads, and the guides library explains what each of our other guides teaches.

We are a marketing and business consulting service, not a contractor. We don't do trade work of any kind, we don't send anyone to a job site, and we never compete with the businesses we help.

The three bodies Ontario trades owners ask about most are TSSA, ESA and WSIB, and each has its own website you should read directly.

We summarise and link these as of October 2026; we don't interpret them. If you have a question about your own registration, licence or coverage, ask the body itself. Where these bodies matter to marketing is on your website: how you describe your credentials, where you show them, and how you keep that information current. Our guide on presenting regulator information on a trade website covers that in detail, and the areas hub adds the regional context.

Marketing help, if you want it

When the guides aren't enough, we plan and run five kinds of work for Ontario trades. Each has its own page that explains what's included, how long it takes and how we'd measure it.

  1. Credential-forward trade websites that put your registration, service area and contact options where a homeowner looks first.
  2. Ontario local SEO and Google Business Profile work that stays inside Google's rules for service-area businesses.
  3. Seasonal Google Ads that follow Ontario's weather instead of a flat monthly budget.
  4. Program-aware content on energy programs homeowners ask about, dated and linked to the administrator.
  5. Call, text and quote follow-up so fewer good leads go cold.

The services overview helps you decide which of these to start with. Most owners need one or two, not all five.

A quick test before you spend anything

Before you pay anyone for marketing, check whether more leads would actually help. Here's a rough test with numbers you can swap for your own.

Say you send 40 quotes a month and win 10, and your average job is worth $2,800. That's $28,000 in monthly work. If you could lift your win rate from 25% to 30% with faster replies and better follow-up, you'd win 12 jobs instead of 10, or $5,600 more each month, without buying a single extra lead.

Now compare that with buying leads. If a paid lead costs you $90 and one in four becomes a job, each new job costs $360 in ad spend. Twenty extra leads would cost $1,800 and produce about five jobs. Both routes can work. The point is to know which one is cheaper for your business before you choose, and the pricing page shows what our help costs so you can include it in the sum.

Who is behind this site

Ontario.Center is run by Ali Sedighi, MBA in Technology Management, who has 17+ years of digital marketing experience and has built 150+ live HVAC websites. It is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, serving trades owners across Canada, including all of Ontario.

The proof we can point to comes from our HVAC work, and we label it that way. Roma Heating & Cooling grew organic traffic by 400% in 12 months, and HeatLand saw a 300% lead increase in 6 months. Those results don't promise anything about your trade or town. They show the method: useful pages, honest local signals and quick follow-up. The results page explains what transfers to other trades and what doesn't, and the about page has the longer story. Our parent brand, Trades.Agency, carries the full plan details.

How to use this site well

Read one guide, check one number, then decide. The FAQ answers the common questions about contracts, timelines and ownership of your accounts, and the contact page explains what to put in your first message so the conversation is useful from the first reply.

Services

Marketing services for Ontario trades, and how to pick one

How it works

  1. Read the guide that matches your problem

Start with the budget worksheet, the regulator-links guide or the follow-up guide. Each one is written so you can act on it without hiring anyone.

  2. Write down three numbers

Your average job value, how many quotes you send each month and how many you win. Those numbers tell us whether marketing is your bottleneck or something else is.

  3. Talk it through with us

Bring the numbers and the question you're stuck on. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.

Frequently asked questions

What is Ontario.Center?

Ontario.Center is a Canadian digital marketing and business consulting service for Ontario trades and home-service businesses. Ali Sedighi, MBA, leads it from the group's Vancouver, BC headquarters, and it sits within the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies.

Are you a contractor or a regulator?

Neither. We don't install, repair or service anything, and we have no connection to TSSA, ESA, WSIB or any other public body. We help trades businesses market themselves, and we point you to the official sources for everything else.

Can you tell me whether my business is compliant?

No. Licensing, registration and workplace-insurance questions belong with the body that sets the rules. Our guides show you where to find each one and how to present your credentials honestly on your website.

What does marketing help cost?

Our help is priced on Trades.Agency plans: from $1,999 monthly, or $1,499 monthly if you commit for a year, with 13% HST on top. Plans run month to month with 30 days' notice, and the first 30-minute consultation is free for eligible trades businesses.

Do you work outside the GTA?

Yes. We plan marketing for trades in every part of Ontario, including Ottawa, Southwestern, Eastern and Northern Ontario. Each region page covers local buyers, seasons and the practical differences in how people search.

Do I have to call to use the guides?

No. The guides are free to read and written to be useful on their own. Reach out only if you want a second opinion or help doing the work.
